Day 12 - Four Mile Bridge to Trearddur Bay

https://www.justgiving.com/page/gill-bruce-1712272574056

Today, the penultimate day, Sue and I met up with Colette, local GD fundraiser and boarder at Four Mile Bridge and what a difference her local knowledge meant to our progress!!  7 miles completed, despite a minor detour, in time for tea at 3 at the Sea Shanty in Trearddur πŸ‘

What a difference a day makes in Anglesey - a beautiful start to the day after such wild weather Monday and Tuesday!

Another chapel ⛪⛪- we've seen quite a number during the last fortnight πŸ˜ƒ

We'd strayed off the official path onto a lane, but so tranquil and lovely views - quietness punctuated now and again by the roar of jets ✈ ✈ or a helicopter out on a mission from RAF Valley

Lots going on at the pop up restaurant at Rhoscolyn Chapel!

Glenise wasn't with us till after lunch today, but we had the chance to get a doggy fix with 2 local ladies out on their daily stroll with their canine companions πŸ•πŸ•

Careful, Colette, turn before you descend the other side on the ladder stile!

Ladder stiles are a doddle for Sue after the cliffs at Cemaes 😎😎😎

Flask and buttie time at one of the most pretty and quiet, calm spots of the fortnight - watching dogs and their owners near Porth y Garan

This 'chubby' dog so loves swimming and collecting sticks - a real water babe!

Those living or visiting this static caravan site just beyond our lunchtime stop certainly enjoy amazing views of the Criccieth/Nefyn penninsula (our gestimate) - must check out when we get a minute πŸ˜•

Not too many folk around, but it is only 1st May πŸ˜€

Nice beach at Trearddur Bay

Sue and I mused over who would live in which wing of this house of character if we ever moved to Anglesey πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°

Quite a challenge guiding boats into this small harbour !!

Here he is again.......Thomas Telford ........this plaque is outside the house where he stayed while overseeing the design and construction of the London to Holyhead Road from 1819-1822.

The water is STILL too cold for my princess paws 🐾🐾

'Millennium marker'

Thank you to customers who put donations into our collecting tin at the Sea Shanty! https://seashantycafe.uk/

Don't think I'm eating kibble for tea ever again when I can be hand fed prime raw beef by a lovely Lauren at the Sea Shanty in Trearddur 🐢 πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Thanks for looking after Glenise and us so well, Neil.  Your staff and cafe are a credit to you and your business partner - wonderfully warm, welcoming and doggy friendly environment.
